My classes blend the precision of Pilates, with the versatility of Yoga and the restorative qualities of Somatics to create welcoming, stress reducing, and challenging classes that are very effective in helping people of all abilities develop the strength, flexibility and stamina to continue doing all the things they love - be it a sport or simply playing with children - for longer.

Explanation of the practices that form the class

Somatics: 
Reboot Your Body & Mind

A quick and highly effective form of     neuromuscular education that addresses the root cause of most muscular pain, the        brain. Through simple, precise           movements, you’ll retrain your brain-to-muscle connection, relax persistent     tightness, and restore functional movement.

Pilates:
 Strength from the Inside Out

Using Pilates principles of slow, controlled, flowing movements performed with mindful awareness and breath, you will learn how to develop strength from the inside out, ease back and joint pain, and reduce stress levels. Occasional equipment use will help you build stamina, strength, and flexibility

Yoga: 
Connect Mind, Body & Spirit

An ancient practice that combines physical poses, breathing techniques, and        meditation to harmonize the mind, body, and spirit. Improve flexibility, strength, and     inner balance.
